The popular Wessex Charity Awards are being held once again to recognise and celebrate exceptional individuals working and volunteering for charities in the Wessex region. Following the huge success of the 2009 and 2010 glittering Gala Awards events, described in the press as the Charity Oscars, the organisers, Charisma Charity Recruitment, are inviting everyone in the region to participate in the celebration of our regional charities.

Six Awards will be presented during the evening:
- Charity of the Year
- Charity Business Supporter of the Year
- Chief Executive of the Year
- Volunteer(s) of the Year
- Best Fundraising Project of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award

Attend the Event!
The Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation will be held on the evening of Thursday, 11 October 2012 in the ancient capital of Wessex. Up to 300 people will be attending this glamorous and memorable evening, along with regional dignitaries, at the historic Winchester Guildhall, Hampshire. We hope you will come along to celebrate our regional Charity Stars.
