What are the Wessex Charity Awards?
Founded and organised by PAS Charity Recruitment, this is an event to recognise the marvellous work performed by charities in the Wessex region.
What is the “Wessex” region?
The area covers Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Isle of Wight, West Surrey and West Sussex.
When and where will the event be held?
The 2010 Awards evening will be held at The Guildhall, Broadway, Winchester on Thursday 30 September 2010
How do I book tickets for the event?
Tickets will be available to book from 1 March 2010. Please contact the Administration Office on admin@wessexcharityawards.co.uk or on 01962 813300 at that time. Ticket prices are £45 for charities and £85 for others.
What Award categories will be available?
• Charity of the Year
• Chief Executive of the Year
• Fundraising Team of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
• Trustee Board of the Year
How do I nominate a charity?
Nominations will be made through this website. Any queries should be to the Administration Office. Detailed information will be available when the nomination period opens.
When do the nominations open?
Nominations are open from 1 March 2010 and will close 30 April 2010.
Can I nominate the charity, or someone in the charity, that I work for?
Yes.
Can a member of the general public submit nominations for charities?
Yes.
How will the Winners be selected?
Our judging panel, made up of high-profile individuals from the charity world, will select a Winner and two runners-up in each category. These will be announced during the Gala Awards evening on Thursday 30 September 2010.
