Santander Corporate Banking
At Santander Corporate Banking, we seek to build a successful banking relationship by supporting you as a partner – providing ideas, tailored solutions and long-term value based on a close knowledge of the charity sector. When you choose us, you’ll have your own dedicated Relationship Director who understands your business. Over time, we want to become part of your team.
We appreciate that every charity is different, with its own priorities, challenges and opportunities. That’s why our Relationship Directors will always listen first and work with you to agree financial solutions that meet your individual needs. With us, there’s no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ package.
Your Relationship Director will be backed by a specialist charity team, with years of experience in the sector. So you can be confident we’ll understand the challenges you face. And whatever your aims, we’ll take the time to get to know them.
The Santander Foundation
The Santander Foundation funds local, regional and national charities for their work within the UK. We are committed to helping disadvantaged people through our two charitable priorities. Formerly the Abbey Charitable Trust, the Foundation was set up in 1990 and has given more than £36 million to charities in the UK. In 2012 the Foundation will be increasing its grants budget to £4.5 million.
As well as responding directly to applications made by charities, the Foundation also supports fundraising undertaken by Santander staff and pensioners in the UK through a staff matched fundraising scheme. Staff can fundraise for as many UK registered charities as they want which is matched up to £700 for each individual or up to £3,500 for teams of four or more.
